November Program w/ Omaha Permaculture

Omaha Permaculture’s (OP) mission is to foster community through sustainable land stewardship.

OP is a 501c3 Environmental non-profit organization that maintains unwanted vacant land to elevate the property's utility and value for the surrounding neighborhood by creating healthy ecosystems through urban agriculture-related economic development.

Now with their headquarters at 41st & Grant St, they have established a foothold in North Omaha, and they hope to be a Mecca for everything sustainability here in the Midwest. They have bees, chickens, greenhouses, and food. And they will provide workshops in the cold months.

OP has 17 properties, previously vacant lots, that are reimagined as hubs for environmental restoration and community pride with community gardens.
