Milkweed Matters is a critical partner to Green Bellevue. They support monarchs and other pollinators through milkweed seedball creation and distribution, and they encourage bicyclists to disperse milkweeds far and wide across the midwest! Milkweed Matters also helps plant and maintain pollinator gardens throughout the Omaha/Bellevue metro area.

The Bellevue City Tree Board works with the City Parks and Street Departments to maintain the trees in our city properties. We work to educate our community about the importance of trees, tree planting, and care. All the trees on public and private property make up Bellevue’s urban forest and are a cornerstone of our community’s environmental health.

Bellevue Native Plant Society is a local group in Bellevue, NE that discusses and advocates the use of native plants in the home landscape and community. BNPS works with Green Bellevue to plant and maintain rain and pollinator gardens in our community.
